What is AdBlue® AUS 32
AdBlue® – also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) or AUS 32, is a standardized high-purity, non-toxic aqueous urea solution used in diesel engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems.
It is an essential emissions control fluid designed to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by converting them into harmless nitrogen and water vapour within the exhaust system. This process supports compliance with stringent environmental regulations, including Euro IV and Euro V emission standards.
In certain engine applications and operating conditions, it may also contribute to improved combustion efficiency and fuel economy.
