We have implemented a robust set of decarbonisation initiatives that reflect our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, including

Route and Fleet Optimisation

We continually focus on optimising and streamlining our delivery routes, thereby enhancing transportation efficiency to reduce emissions associated with logistics operations. We also closely monitor the age of our fleet to ensure operational efficiency.

Renewable Diesel

We have started using renewable diesel to meet part of our fleet’s fuel demand to reduce our carbon emissions. Going forward, we plan to increase the percentage of renewable diesel used to fuel our fleet

Solar energy

Both our Group Headquarters in Changi and our warehouse in Tuas are installed with solar panels, with a generation capacity of 80-90MwH per month and 30-40MwH per month respectively.

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)

We have acquired RECs to effectively offset our carbon emissions.

Energy-Saving Initiatives

We have implemented energy-efficient LED lighting, motion sensors for lightings and CCTVs in our office premises, which contributes to consistent energy savings and reduces our overall carbon footprint.

Workplace Safety

Our operations as a petrochemical distributor naturally introduces risks to the workplace. To mitigate and manage these risks, we are committed to maintaining rigorous standards of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), and aim to maintain zero work-related fatalities.

We have obtained ISO 45001, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. OH&S-related training, such as Driver Refresher courses, CERT First Aid Courses and Hazardous Material transportation training are regularly provided to enhance workplace safety.

Additionally, there is continual performance evaluation and monitoring of our OH&S systems. We will continue to ensure that OH&S remains a strategic and operational priority for our organisation.

Employee Wellbeing & Engagement

Our employees are one of our most important assets, and we believe in supporting their wellbeing and engagement through various initiatives. We have diversity and inclusion policies in place to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and with equal opportunities. Creating a positive workplace culture increases employee engagement, where our employees become more driven, engaged and connected with the company.

We have learning and development programs to continually upgrade our employees’ skills in areas relevant to their professional roles and responsibilities and facilitate external professional development opportunities where available.

To further drive employee engagement, there are also office events that sustain a positive and high-performing workplace culture. These include Health Check-ups, Zumba classes, Terrarium-building workshops, Annual Dinners, and more.
